Top Ten Tips When Booking Chauffeur Drive

At Flexecars we take the welfare and safety of our clients seriously. With that in mind we have put together a little check list for when you next hire a car that is not a Flexecar

• Ask a selection of local private hire operators to send you their literature.
• Request some sample quotations, using a variety of scenarios.
• Select three operators and visit their premises (this can be particularly revealing) and note that operators running their business from home should have planning permission to do so.
• Ask to see their licences and insurance documents.
• Check the operator has employee liability for the cars.
• Ask to inspect their vehicles (this can also be revealing).
• Require them to be contracted to you and guarantee their insurance and legal responsibilities (personally if necessary).
• Make clear your own requirements (no smoking vehicles, etc…) and make sure that you understand the operators requirements, as this is a two way agreement.
• Ask to see the operators Terms and Conditions of Transfer.
• Insist on confirmations being sent either by email or by fax.
